What happens next

The aligner does most of it. Your request carries the candidate lyrics; the operator runs the offline aligner, which listens to the song and times every word of them.
Listening helps too. Karafilt times lines while the song plays, and those timings are pooled across everyone who plays it.
The result is a normal revision. It arrives word-synced at the auto_aligned tier, so corrections and votes still apply - and the request closes itself.
